By submitting your story to The Goat Girl / Calling All Scapegoats podcast, you agree to the following terms:
1. Permission to Use Your Story
You grant Jamie Allen (The Goat Girl) and the Calling All Scapegoats podcast the right to:
- Read, edit, and share your submitted story
- Use your story in podcast episodes, social media, website content, and related media
- Adapt your story for clarity, length, or tone while preserving its core meaning
2. Anonymity & Identification
You may choose how you are identified:
- Fully anonymous
- First name only
- Pseudonym (fake name)
- Full name (only if you explicitly allow it)
If no preference is stated, your story will be treated as anonymous by default.
3. Voluntary Submission
By submitting your story, you confirm:
- This is your story or you have the right to share it
- You are voluntarily submitting it
- You understand it may be shared publicly
4. No Compensation
Submission of your story is voluntary.
You understand that you will not receive payment or compensation for its use.
5. Sensitive Content Acknowledgment
You understand that:
- Your story may involve sensitive or personal experiences
- Once shared publicly, it may be heard or seen by a wide audience
6. Right to Decline or Remove
The Goat Girl reserves the right to:
- Not use a submitted story
- Remove or stop using a story at any time
7. Podcast Participation (If Invited)
If you are invited to appear on the podcast:
- Additional verbal or written consent may be required
- You agree to the recording and distribution of that conversation
8. Release of Liability
You release The Goat Girl, Calling All Scapegoats, and Jamie Allen from any claims related to:
- The use or publication of your submitted story
- Any emotional or personal impact resulting from its sharing
9. Agreement
By submitting your story, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
